Such an alternative being SDR Console would be great.Īdd the better tcxo and a case. The existing software that supports HackRF Tx is rather clunky so I'm looking for alternatives. HackRF One is currently the only Tx-capable SDR I have, and I don't currently plan on buying a different one (I need it just for testing and calibrating receivers so I don't see the point of buying anything else). I do hope the support gets added in the future, but I wouldn't hold your breath on this one.Īlso me. I have since accepted that, and sold my HackRF One, replacing it with a Lime Mini instead, which has transmit support in SDR Console already. I did request this a while ago, but was told it wasn't going to happen, as there were other more important priorities and the HackRF isn't a particularly good SDR anyway (or something along those lines). To: Re: HackRF One Transmit Support #hackrf #feature #sdrconsolev3 HackRF is only 8 bits so may not be all that clean, also it’s really a question of time & priorities.
#HACKRF ONE WINDOWS 10 DRIVERS#
Are there any plans to add HackRF transmit support to SDR-Console, and does the existence of drivers and libraries for other programs make this any easier? I know there were some threads back in 2016 where it was stated that it would take longer than LimeSDR support to add, but I'd love for this to be revisited, especially since there seems to be reliable RX support in SDR-Console anyway! I noticed when reading the SDR-Console documentation, that HackRF transmit support isn't included at this time, although LimeSDR and some others are supported for this.
#HACKRF ONE WINDOWS 10 PATCH#
I currently have a HackRF One, which is capable of transmitting as high as 6GHz, and would be ideal to use for QO-100 with a fairly cheap amplifier and either a dual-band patch antenna or a dedicated transmit dish/yagi. Hi All, With the recent emergence of QO-100, many people have begun to look at options for working through the satellite with existing equipment - indeed this is how I arrived at this question.
